Instead of tags for holiday presents I decided that it might be fun to attach mini-canvases to packages for family and friends. I order 3X3 primed archival canvases, added a coating of gesso and for a few of the canvases painted a background color such as light blue. Choosing images from my own photos or previous holiday cards, I sketched some ideas and transferred them to the mini’s. Since they were so small I signed on the backside of the canvas and added a holiday message.
